Italian restaurants in Fourways! One of the most popular appeals for recommendations and we have found an amazing restaurant  that you absolutely have to try!

Casa Bella has finally opened in Fourways! This authentically Neapolitan-styled restaurant is trendy and new yet their traditional values are highlighted in their food. Their pasta is freshly made daily and only the highest quality ingredients are selected to ensure the tastiest meal. They launched into Montecasino 3 weeks ago and have been packed since opening night. Their sister store at the Mall of Africa has already created a loyal following of Fourways residents who frequent that store however this new addition to our suburb is welcomed.

The service is swift so catching a meal does not interfere with any movies or shows you might be attending however the comfort and great location of Casa Bella makes for great people watching and lends itself beautifully to a leisurely meal.

While you read the menu they bring you a little brown box filled with fried pizza dough, this is the most incredible update of the focaccia. It is light, delicate and delicious, the meal could have stopped right there as we were already happy.

We decided to order the Garlic Prawn Tails which had been very highly recommended and Ostrich Carpaccio to start, one of us is a bit of a carpaccio fundi so the bar was set pretty high to begin with, both were absolutely incredible, the carpaccio was voted top 3 in SA by our independent judge!

Mains was a tough call as the menu is politely diverse but not overwhelming in options, we had heard so much about their handmade pasta so we HAD to try it. We ordered the Fettuccine con Pesce (seafood pasta)  which was very generous with seafood and the Fillet Saltimbocca which is fillet medallions served on a bed of fettuccine layered with mozzarella parma ham and portabellini mushrooms …..portions are very generous, the sauce was extremely tasty and the pasta is literally to die for.

Dessert was an impossible decision to make, the Vanilla Panna Cotta was light and easy while the Fudge Picasso was a white chocolate fudge cake something that was so decadent and did I mention the Limoncello Cheesecake!!

The restaurant is fabulous and a must try but what makes this place even better than fabulous is their extended trading hours! Their kitchen stays open until 11pm during the week and 1am on a Saturday, being able to get a great meal later in the evening is rare in Fourways.

Casa Bella would like to extend an invitation to the Fourways Community to come and try their new restaurant and are offering 2 I Love Fourways Members vouchers to the value of R500 each. Tell us what time they stay open to on a Saturday and you could #WIN one of these vouchers.
